I-10 reopened at Louisiana state line after damaging car-hauler fire

Interstate 10 at the Louisiana, Mississippi state line has been reopened after a serious car-hauler fire damaged a bridge. 

The single-rig fire happened early on Tuesday morning, January 11th on the Pearl River Bridge in Mississippi. 

According to KATC News, the car-hauler was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and the truck driver was able to escape the flaming wreck unharmed. The bridge was closed in both directions as crews worked to inspect the damage done in the wreck and subsequent fire, but was reopened at around 8 a.m. 

Drivers heading in both directions can expect traffic around the Slidell area and Louisiana, Mississippi state line.
