Two people were hurt when a semi truck crashed through a highway sound barrier wall in Utah on Wednesday night.
The crash happened on July 31st in Layton, Utah at about 7:10 p.m. on an Interstate 15 on-ramp in Layton, Utah.
According to ABC 4, The semi truck was hauling hay south through an intersection on Antelope Drive when it began to lose control. The commercial vehicle then crashed into two cars and drove onto an I-15 on ramp, where it eventually crashed through a highway sound barrier wall.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries in the crash and was treated on scene before being released. A person in one of the wrecked cars also sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Officials say the wreck was likely mechanical issues or driver error.
