A truck driver doesn’t stop in time to keep the nose of his truck from getting smacked by a train in Bangor on Tuesday.
From the YouTuber: “The H74 rockets up the hill with 2 SD70ACes and a Dash 9 only to have a WCT semi pull out in front of them. The train clips the front end of the Peterbilt before stopping a little ways down the line, leaving the driver dazed, but unhurt. After emergency services responded, the train was inspected, and sent on its way to Portland. Meanwhile, I was giving this video to police officers and Norfolk Southern crash inspectors. And guess what? THE DRIVER SAID THE CROSSINGS WERE NOT ON WHEN HE CAME TO THE TRACKS!!! Obviously, this video proves him a liar. I showed this video the the cops to prove so, and they went back and charged him. Now he’ll be able to look back on this mistake which will hopefully keep him from running the tracks in the future.”
