A Facebook user shared a video filmed from the passenger seat of his Tesla on a busy highway as the Autopilot feature was in complete control of the vehicle’s driving operations.
The video was shared on Sunday by Facebook user Albert Siplen, who said, “The new upgrades got the Tesla 🚙 🚖 Driving me to breakfast 🥞 🍳.”
Siplan filmed the video from the passenger seat of his Tesla Model X as he was en route to Henderson, North Carolina. In the video, the Tesla in the left lane passes a semi truck in the right lane.
Though Tesla does have some self-driving driving capabilities, the company warns that Autopilot features “require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous.”
