A worker at a Texas tax office created a stunningly detailed Buc-ee’s travel center out of gingerbread and other sweet treats.
In honor of National Gingerbread Day (December 12), the Williamson County Tax Office in Georgetown, Texas, shared video of an intricate gingerbread Buc-ee’s that was painstakingly crafted by employee Deanna Vaters.
The gingerbread-based travel center features the iconic Buc-ee’s logo, gas pumps, a pet relief area, Tesla super chargers, and tons of passenger vehicles (sorry, truckers, no big rigs are present in this sweet display).
“We enjoy making people happy and people really appreciate it,” Vaters said of her elaborate creation.
Check out the video below for a good look at the gingerbread Buc-ee’s.
While Buc-ee’s is experiencing major growth with plans to open multiple new stores, the travel center chain is controversial in the trucking community for its refusal to accommodate truckers. The company opened its first ever location in Missouri on December 11.
