Surveillance video showing the semi truck that fatally struck a motorist and then fled the scene was released this week as the Ohio Highway Patrol continues the search.
The late October wreck left a 78-year-old dead after the semi truck turned left in front of his car. The truck then stopped briefly before completing a u-turn and driving away.
According to Fox 8, the truck is described as a red International semi truck pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with black metal pipe at the time of the wreck. The truck has an after-market chrome bumper and grill with lights. The sleeper portion of the rig has tinted windows and there is white lettering on the doors.
On October 24th, the semi truck was seen in Apple Creek at 11:07 a.m., in Mount Eaton at 11:18 a.m. and Strasburg at 11:36 a.m.
Anyone with information on the semi truck, driver, or crash is urged to call the New Philadelphia post of the state patrol at 330-339-1103.
