Two men electrocuted in dump trailer accident

Two men were electrocuted in a dump trailer accident at a sewer plant in Missouri on Tuesday morning. 

The accident happened on May 28th in Dunklin County, Missouri at the city of Clarkton Sewer Plant on East Commercial Street at about 8:05 a.m. 

According to KFVS 12, police were called to the scene on reports of a possible vehicle fire with two people injured. When officers arrived, they discovered two unresponsive people lying near a tractor trailer after an apparent dump trailer accident.  

Investigation revealed that the men were raising a dump trailer when it came in contact with a high-voltage power line, electrocuting both men. 

John Langston and William Lesslie were both pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is still under investigation.
