The latest ‘Lifetime’ original movie called ‘Happy Face Killer’ starring David Arquette, is based-on-a-true story and said to be rather disturbing.
Arquette plays a truck driver, turned serial killer in the film – portraying Canadian killer and long-haul truck driver, Keith Hunter Jesperson.
The story begins when things at home with Jesperson’s family start to fall apart. The driver’s wife packs up their three children and leaves him while he’s 200 miles from home, in Spokane, Washington.
After the couple’s divorce is finalized, Jesperson began strangling women across the country in the 90’s – leaving a happy face next to a confession at each of the scenes – on or near his victims.
The ‘Lifetime’ film premiered on March 1st, and will air again on Saturday and Sunday (a T.V. schedule can be found here). – Comcast Xfinity, DirectTv, Bright House, Time Warner Cable, Optimum, and Verizon FiOS customers can stream ‘Happy Face Killer’ online at any time here.
