PS Logistics, a national flatbed logistics and trucking company domiciled in Birmingham, Alabama and the parent company of P&S Transportation, announced yesterday that it has acquired Purdy Brothers Trucking and Louden County Trucking.
Through the acquisition, PS Logistics will acquire 220 drivers, 210 trucks, 500 trailers, including reefers, flatbeds and dump trucks. In addition, P&S will gain terminals in Tennessee, Florida, Illinois and Virginia.
According to the press release, the companies will continue to per ate under their current, independent company names.
