Oregon State Police Seeking Truck Involved in Fatal Crash

Oregon State Police are seeking the publics help in locating a truck that may have been rear ended on I-5 near mile post 253 on January 27.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, just before 1:00 a.m.

According to the Oregon State Police, a sliver Lexus was traveling south on I-5, which was a construction zone that evening. Troopers believe the Lexus rear ended a truck. The Lexus driver died at the scene.

Troopers say the truck driver likely didn’t know he or she had been struck from behind.

Authorities are asking anyone with information, or anyone who might have been in the area at the time of the incident, to contact lead investigator, Trooper Eli Breen, at the Northern Command Center at 503-375-3555.
