Take a look as a truck driver swerves to avoid a previous crash and winds up crashing off the road down a 25 foot embankment.
The crash happened around noon on January 11 on Route 309 in Beaumont, Pennsylvania.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash began when one car stopped in the southbound lane of the highway to make a turn. A second car slowed behind the first car. Then a pickup truck driver who “took his eyes off the road” collided with the car and sent it into the northbound lanes.
The truck driver swerved to try to avoid the car and wound up crashing down an embankment.
The truck driver and the driver of the car were taken to the hospital following the crash.
