Girl fleeing family argument runs right into path of semi truck

A girl was seriously injured in Washington on Thursday night after fleeing her house and running in front of a moving semi truck. 

The accident happened on April 15th at around 8:40 p.m. in Colton, Washington. 

According to Moscow-Pullman Daily News, officers responded to a “family disturbance” at a home south of Colton. When officers arrived, a young girl, who was a part of the disturbance, ran from the house and onto Highway 195, where she was struck by an oncoming semi truck. 

The girl was seriously injured and was transported to a nearby hospital, but her current condition is not known. 

The “family disturbance” and incident with the semi truck are currently being investigated as separate incidents.
