Watch a skilled trucker move a historic house through the streets of San Francisco

A heavy haul team coordinated the move of a large Victorian home to a new location several blocks away.

The move took place early on February 21 as a team coordinated to move the historic 141 year old six bedroom structure known as the Englander House from Franklin Street to Fulton Street in San Francisco. The house will be converted into single family units in the new location.

To achieve the house move, crews had to remove parking meters, power lines, and street lights.

The six block move took about six hours.

ABC7 reports that the total cost of the house move was $400,000.
