An overturned semi truck forced the closure of Interstate 15 in Salt Lake City on Tuesday for the cleanup of an unidentified red liquid.
The accident happened on May 31st in South Salt Lake, Utah at around 2:30 p.m.
According to KSL 5, the wreck was captured on a motorist’s dash cam, where the truck can be seen losing control, overturning, and sliding towards a line of stopped traffic at the I-15 overpass at 1300 South. No one was hurt in the incident.
It's not clear what this red fluid is, but there appears to be a leaking rolled semi trailer under the freeway at 3300 South via UDOT camera.

The crash spilled the truck’s load of red liquid across the roadway. The liquid has not been identified, but Utah Highway Patrol says that the fluid is non-hazardous.
All eastbound lanes on 3300 South, the I-15 northbound to westbound ramps, as well as the southbound to eastbound ramps were shut down until around 11:30 p.m. for cleanup. No further information has been released.
