As a family owned and operated Dry Van Truckload Trucking Company. We offer reliable, efficient, and timely dry van trucking services. This is for all types of freight shipments to destinations across the United States. Additionally we also provide warehousing, cross dock, and many other storage and logistics needs.

How Did We Start?

Jimmy Singh grew up in the trucking world. His dad started a trucking company in 1985 with 10 trucks. Jimmy wanted to make it on his own and started as an owner operator in 1993. After 4 years of building relationships and successfully running his business, Jimmy decided to grow his trucking company in 1997. At this time 4 company trucks and 16 owner operators comprised the fleet. Correspondingly, these owner operators came to work with Jimmy due to the relationships they had and their ability to believe in his vision.

BIR Transport started in 1997 running produce from coast to coast. By 2003 the company had grown to 25 company trucks and made a switch into dry van truckload. As the operations were growing, Jimmy decided to expand out of Draper VA . He opened our Calhoun TN terminal in 2010. In 2013 BIR Transport Co bought out Bluefield Transport. As time went on, a terminal in Augusta GA became an addition in 2014. Also our Knoxville TN terminal became an addition in 2017.

However the trucks were getting older and the maintenance costs were growing. So the decision was made to sell the equipment and in 2017 new equipment was purchased. Nevertheless, In the next 3 years the entire fleet received an upgrade to include 60 trucks and over 180 trailers.
