      Vans, Flat, Step, Heavy Haul up to 19 axles or steerable dollies. 1000+ loads on board each day of our own personal customers hauling anything from Bottled Water to the Mars Rover.

      Driver Managers each have about 15-20 Drivers

      We pay percentage, hourly and CPM. If your fleet doesn't run long miles, you wont be paid mileage.

      75% (Van Division Only)

      Are drivers required to physically unload freight?

      No

      How many hours are free before the driver starts receiving detention time pay?

      How long do stops take to get offloaded on average?

      Vans are mostly Drop and Hook. Flatbed and Heavy Haul really depends on the load size itself.

      Is the company forced dispatch?

      Yes, for company driver only. But we do take into account where you prefer to run and anywhere that makes you uncomfortable and try to accommodate best we can.

      What happens if a driver refuses to take a dispatch for a legitimate reason?

      We offer them a different load, or give them time off if health or family related.

      Are drivers able to stay within a certain geographical area or are they required to run wherever the company runs?

      We have many locations with Regional and Local options.

      Does your company use customer based freight or brokered freight?

      Both, but we have a very large customer data base. Our Brokerage is in the 50 in the nation as well, and serves as a good back up when needed.

      Does the trucking company have an idle policy?

      No, we have APUs on all sleeper trucks

      Does the company use E-logs or Paper Logs?

      For only one account in Indy that is home daily

      If a driver takes extended home time is there a risk that their truck will be taken away and reassigned?

      Only if the driver does not communicate in advance or return communication. We would send a well check first before making any decisions.

      Are drivers able to take the tractor home with them on home time?

      Yes

      Do drivers need to be prepared to have a place to keep the trailer on home time?

      No, but it can be a nice convenience if they can take their trailer home

      Can drivers leave the trailer locked up in a different location than the tractor on home time?

      Yes, but only if it has been cleared with their dispatcher

      Do the trucks come equipped with refrigerators?

      Yes

      Do the trucks have single bunks or double bunks?

      We have both, but mostly single bunks

      How long is the company’s orientation process?

      3-5 days, depending on the fleet (Van Vs. Open Deck)

      Are new hires paid anything for orientation?

      Yes.

      Does the company pay for all travel arrangements?

      Yes.

      Does the driver get their own hotel room or are drivers required to room with another driver?

      We would never ask a driver to share their hotel room. Not during orientation or after they are hired on.

      Does the company expect the driver to pay them back for orientation expenses if the driver does not drive for them for a certain period of time?

      No.

      After orientation is finished how long will it take for the driver to get dispatched home to pick up his/her gear?

      Drivers have their choice to leave right away, or stay the night and leave in the morning.

      Are pets and passengers allowed to attend orientation with the driver?

      Yes, they are welcome to come up to Fort Wayne during the orientation time, but they can not come to class. Hotel is pet friendly.

      Does the company have enough trucks for all of the drivers it hires at orientation or will the driver need to travel to another facility or terminal to recover a truck after orientation is finished?

      May need to travel, we will let the driver know in advance

      Built in raises to get driver to top pay within a year or two if they do not come in already at top pay. If we raise fleet pay across the board, everyone gets a raise.

      Health, 401K, HSA, Paid Vacation and holidays your first year for company drivers.

      How long must a driver be employed before benefits kick in?

      60 days for 401K 90 Days for Health Vacation/Holidays starts accruing day one

      It is trucks that we have all owned since brand new, Typically about two years old

      $600-$1200 (This includes almost everything, except fuel and taxes)

      Are drivers required to pay truck payments when they are off the road?

      We do have an option to move payments to the end of the lease, but needs to be approved by management

      Is there a balloon payment or a buyout at the end of the lease?

      No

      Are drivers responsible for finding these insurances on their own?

      No, the lease includes nearly everything you need

      What type of escrow accounts does the company make the driver set up? (Maintenance, Tires, Walk away lease escrow)

      What happens to the driver in the event they are unable to finish the lease? Are drivers charged a fee?

      No, walkaway

      No, but they can choose their freight and they are not under forced dispatch

      Are LP drivers paid for all miles?

      No, 68% Gross Line Haul. We do have Deadhead pay.

      Does LP driver get 100% of the fuel surcharge?

      Yes

      Are LP drivers paid by the mile or by Percentage? If by the percentage how will drivers know what their true percentage is?

      68%. Dispatcher will let them know what the loads pays to them before they accept it.

      What type of maintenance is the driver responsible for?

      All. Only if there is an issue that is clearly not the drivers fault do we cover major maintenance.

      Will someone in the office keep track of when regular maintenance is due or is the driver responsible for scheduling their own maintenance?

      Yes, they also track their incomes, shop debt, loads their choosing ext. We have a full time employee to guide lease drivers to pay off success

      Where are the repairs performed? Does the driver have a say in this?

      Our shops or shops across US. Driver work with a break down manager to schedule maintenance where it is convenient, affordable and top tier service.

      How often are driver paid? By the week or by the load?

      Weekly, Friday direct deposit

      Do LP drivers need to have their own Trailers? If not, are drivers charged a rental fee for the use of the company's trailers?

      No Trailer Fees, Our Trailers are free to use.

      Does your company offer any type of tax services to help the driver out when filing their taxes?

      Yes, only if drivers want it.

      Can drivers get fuel anywhere or are they limited to certain fuel stops?

      Anywhere Commdata is accepted

      Does the company keep track of all maintenance records for each truck? If so, can the driver see a copy of all maintenance on the truck before leasing?

      Yes and all maintenance records, spec and pictures are provided up front.

      Can the driver get the contract for the lease sent to them before coming in so the driver can review the lease?

      Yes, we actually schedule a phone meeting to go over it with them before coming to orientation. Copy of provided for this phone call.

      What are the most negative things about your lease compared to what other companies are offering?

      Used Trucks only

      Is the driver allowed to customize the truck, such as installing new wheels, shifters, seats, stacks, etc… before having it paid off?

      Too some degree and needs advance approval
