McEwen Trucking, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Randy and Mary McEwen and has been a family owned and operated business for the last 39 years.

We are a Smartway Certified, Michigan-based refrigerated carrier that runs mainly in Kentucky, North and South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas and the seven western states. We operate well-maintained late model Freightliner tractors and all 53' air ride refrigerated trailers are equipped with cellular tracking systems for location and product protection.

Driver Qualifications:

• 24 years of age

• Minimum of 2 years OTR experience

• Must have recent verifiable experience

• No more than 4 moving violations in the past 4 years

• Must have a Class-A CDL in the driver's state of residence

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen

• No convictions for reckless/careless driving in the past 5 years

• No convictions for drug/alcohol related offenses in the past 5 years 

• No license suspensions in the past 5 years
