RJ’s Transportation is a service-based company that gets business the old fashioned way. We earn it. We work nights, weekends and holidays. When other companies say they can’t. We are there to pick up the slack. Hiring RJ’s Transportation is not working with “just another carrier.” We look forward to working with you as a partner—one you can always trust to deliver.

In 1990, Riley James Blanchet (RJ) saw an opportunity in the sugar cane industry and began hauling molasses throughout south Louisiana. After 13 years, he ventured into the chemical industry transporting caustic soda and hydrochloric acid from manufacturer to end user. In 2012, RJ brought Brandon Fortney on board as a partner and the business grew from 20 trucks to over 200 plus 350 trailers.

TODAY

RJ’s Transportation has evolved into a multi-faceted carrier moving a wide array of chemicals throughout the Gulf Coast and lower 48. We handle the majority of Univar Solutions’ work in the Gulf South and were selected as their Bulk Carrier of the Year in 2015 and 2016, the last two years the pro.
