2. Stolen – dir. by Simon West, starring Nicholas Cage, Josh Lucas, and Malin Akerman. Rated: R
Master thief Will Montgomery has just been released from the state penitentiary after serving a 10 year sentence, when he is contacted by Jonah, his former comrade-in-crime, who is holding Will’s teenage daughter ransom in a hijacked taxi cab. Jonah will only surrender her when Will reveals the whereabouts of the money he concealed from their last robbery.
That’s right, another cheeky action vehicle for the always-cheesy and yelling Nic Cage. How can you go wrong?
