Fans of Lisa Kelly and the History Channel show Ice Road Truckers, have reason to celebrate. Kelly returns for the show’s seventh season which premiers on June 9, 2013 at 10/9 central.
This season, the truckers will be back in Manitoba, Canada. Hugh “Polar Bear” Rowland has decided to start up his own trucking company and plans to compete against his former employer, Polar Industries.
Polar Industries fights back by hiring Rowland’s rival Alex Debogorski. Kelly signs on with Polar Industries, as well.
This season also brings a new face to the show, Joey Barnes, a mechanic called “The Kind of Obsolete.” He collects old trucks– some that date back to the 1930s.
