Police say that a drunk woman stole a hard cider truck from a convenience in Portland and crashed it into a barn in Limerick, Maine.
According to reports, 19-year-old Nicole Dyment stole an Angry Orchard truck around 11 a.m today as it was making deliveries to a 7-Eleven. She was pursued by sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase before she lost control and crashed the truck into a barn in Limerick, approximately 30 miles from where she stole the truck. Police say that she appeared to be under the influence.
Dyment suffered injuries to the head during the crash though the extent of her injuries is still unclear. She is currently being treated in the hospital.
Police say Dyment will face serious charges, including OUI, driving without a license, failure to stop for a police officer, and driving to endanger.
