Trucker seriously hurt after Wisconsin rest area robbery and beating

A Pennsylvania-based truck driver is in serious condition after he was beaten and robbed by two suspects at a rest area in Dodge County.

Rest Area Robbery And Assault Leaves Trucker Seriously Injured

A Pennsylvania-based truck driver is in serious condition after he was beaten and robbed by two suspects at a rest area in Dodge County.

According to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on September 4 at 10:30 p.m. at Rest Area 63 off of southbound I-41 near Lomira.

A fifty-five year old male truck driver from Titusville was in the restroom when two black male suspects reportedly jumped over the bathroom stall wall and assaulted him. The suspects also robbed the truck driver of an unknown amount of money.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office describes the truck driver’s injuries as “serious.” He is currently being treated at a hospital in Milwaukee.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who may have information about the incident to call 920-386-3726.
