Missouri Issues IRP and IFTA Exemptions

On Friday, Missouri Motor Carrier Services Director Jan Skouby issued temporary International Registration Plan (IRP) and International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) exemptions for those who are working to provide support to those affected by the recent Oklahoma tornadoes.

To qualify for the exemption, you must obtain a permit and you must keep it with you in your truck while traveling though Missouri.  Permits can be obtained by contacting MoDOT at 866-831-6277. 

The temporary exemption began on Friday, May 24, 2013 and will end on Friday, June 14, 2013.
