Police in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, are asking for public help in identifying a truck driver who they say caused a costly crash last week.

According to the Tuscaloosa Police Department (TPD), the crash occurred at a Chevron gas station location at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30.

Police say that the truck driver struck a pole, which then struck the roof of the Chevron building. This sparked a small fire and caused a power outage.

The TPD says that the driver of the truck is a white male in his 20s or 30s. His vehicle is described as a white or silver truck hauling an orange enclosed trailer.
