Saia buys Holland terminal for $15.5M

Saia buys Holland terminal in Ohio after location shuts down in wake of Yellow’s collapse. 

Saia Motor Freight Line out of Atlanta, Georgia has purchased a trucking terminal in Beaver Township, Ohio as of February 8th, reported WFMJ.

Saia purchased the former Holland Trucking company property on Market Street for $15,525,000. The terminal shut down during the summer of 2023 when Yellow filed for bankruptcy. Holland was acquired by Yellow as a subsidiary in 2005, and was one of the subsidiary companies shut down when Yellow closed down. 

Saia turns 100 years old this year, and currently operates 194 terminals in the United States with almost 14,000 employees.
