Three semi trucks and two pickups were involved in a chain reaction crash during a dust storm on I-8 near Casa Grande, Arizona, last night.
The crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. 15 miles west of Casa Grande. According to reports, the cab of one of the trucks became almost totally lodged in another truck’s trailer during the multi-vehicle crash.
Luckily, no serious injuries were reported. One of the truck’s passengers was treated at a hospital for minor injuries — mainly cuts and bruises.
Arizona Department of Public Safety Capt. Glen Swavely says that all three semi truck drivers involved in the crash will probably be cited.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
