York, Pennsylvania garbage truck driver, Jim Rife had a close call late last month when he heard a moan as he was about to press the button to activate his truck’s trash compactor.
According to the Toms River Police, the blaze began around 9:00 a.m. in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The driver became aware of smoke rising from the back of his truck, while he was turning out of a unit on Colfax.
