DALLAS – (March 2, 2015) At the 2015 Mid-America Trucking Show, Red Eye Radio’s lobby booth will once again be THE premier celebrity Rendezvous spot. March 26th -28th, 2015 in Louisville, Kentucky. On Thursday, Eric Harley, host of Red Eye Radio, will be on hand to introduce drivers and attendees to country music artist Katie Armiger. On Friday, Country Music Artist, Austin Webb, will be stopping by the Red Eye Radio booth to sign autographs and perform an acoustic set. Saturday, attendees will be able to spend some time and get their pictures taken with Truck Driver and Country Music Artist Tony Justice.
With the release of her new album, Fall Into Me, it’s clear Katie Armiger has come of age. The album, a work of stunning maturity, also reflects the accomplished young star’s deepening confidence in her own abilities. Armiger co-wrote every song on the 14-cut set not because she deliberately set out to do so, but because she had such a clear vision for the project that none of the many outside songs she considered seemed personal enough. “I know it’s cliché to say, but it really is kind of a diary of my life in the last two years,” she says of the album.
Austin Webb grew up in Greenville, S.C. listening to healthy doses of Motown, R&B, rock, and retro country from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. He also loved authors like Oscar Wilde, Henry, Walt Whitman and Dylan Thomas, and started writing poetry at nine years old. He knew he was going to be a writer of some sort, and at 16 when he picked up a guitar, he began pouring out his emotions into songs.
Tony Justice likes to sum up his life in six words: God, Family, America, Country Music, NASCAR, and Trucking. And this truck-driving, singer-songwriter, Tony is having the time of his life chasing his dream! As a second-generation trucker, Tony not only writes about the trucking life, he lives it.
Throughout the three days of the show, Captain Edgar Hansen, Chief Engineer/Deck Boss for the Fishing Vessel Northwestern, will also be in attendance with Red Eye Radio in the South Wing Lobby A courtesy of Chevron Delo.
