A trooper with the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) survived a close call with SUV on Wednesday.
Dash cam video of the close call was shared on social media by WHP on January 5.
In the quick video clip captured during winter weather conditions, a WHP trooper is standing near his vehicle when an SUV driver in the left lane appears to see the parked cruiser too late, veering off the roadway and forcing the trooper to run and then dive to avoid being hit.
“Please slow down, use caution, and plan ahead,” WHP said.
