Video: World’s Dumbest Cyclist

This is so dumb it almost makes me angry. In this video a cyclist is drafting a truck. The person recording the video shows the cyclist and truck going 90 kilometers per hour, or around 56 mph.

In cycling, drafting is called a peloton.

Of course, if the driver of the truck were to stop and the cyclist was injured or killed, the headline would probably read, “Bicyclist Killed By Trucker.”

my husband drives and I have been out there with him and seen some stupid stuff…..but it really ticks me off that people do stupid crap like that then when they get into an accident with the truck drivers the person or their families want to file a lawsuit yelling trucker fault….

The dork on the bicycle should have been shot just for wearing spandex! let alone the utter stupidity of drafting a truck. he needs to ride that toy on the sidewalk where it belongs not on the highway.

In the 80′s cars did that all the time. Cops on 95 between Va n Fl used to used CBs an u could talk to them.. They would tell u bring them on down. It was funny to watch the cars freak out when the Cop would hit their lights… People don’t think what if. a tire blows, driver slam on breaks to miss a animal or another car , run over a dead animal.. Some of the guys I ride Motorcycles with do it still. then when we stop I would ask what would u do if.. they just look at me an say never thought about that… DUH

Of course the driver has no clue the cyclist is back there, so what is the cyclist thinking? If he wants speed, get a motorcycle, if he wants a rush, he’ll get one when the truck has to stop or slows down suddenly. This guy is a moron. How many kids are gonna try this cause they’ve seen this now?
