Rob Richardson of ‘Trick My Truck’ Dies

According to a press release from CMT, Rob Richardson, a cast member of CMT’s Trick My Truck died suddenly Sunday night.

Richardson was 41.  He died of an apparent heart attack in his home in Webb City, Missouri.

Richardson was known as “Hotwire.”  He owned Rob’s Audio Solutions in Joplin, Missouri.  He was considered one of the best audio installers in the nation.

Richardson worked closely with the crew at 4-States Trucking, Chrome Shop Mafia.

Trick My Truck ran for 5 seasons and Richardson was a made frequent appearances on the show.

“In interviews, Richardson said he hoped Trick My Truck would put a positive spin on the business of trucking. Regarding his passion for audio, he said, ‘Pretty much anything that needs tunes in it, I’m there,'” CMT states.

Richardson is survived by his wife Heather and daughters Makala and Meagan Pippin.
