Florida Highway Shut Down By A Woman’s Psychic Premonition About Bomb

Published:

Florida officials shut down I-95 north in Delray Beach this morning after a woman claimed that she had a “premonition in her head” that there was a bomb in her car.

The woman had no other reason to believe that there was a bomb in her car other than a psychic premonition. Nevertheless, the bomb scare was reported around 6:30 this morning, prompting officials to shut down the northbound lanes of I-95 north of Atlantic Avenue.

Police did not find evidence of a bomb.

Authorities cleared the incident by about 8:30.

The woman could be confined for evaluation by mental health professionals for up to 72 hours under the state’s Baker Act law to ensure her mental stability.

There is no word whether charges will be filed against her.
