This photo captured by Caltrans shows how close this dump truck driver came to being pushed over a guardrail by a mudslide this morning.
According to their Facebook post, a crew was responding to a mudslide on Highway 1 near Westport when a second mudslide pushed this truck to the edge. Luckily, the driver was not hurt. Highway 1 is closed until further notice.
