TV’s highest rated reality series, “Deadliest Catch,” Season 8 premiers April 10, 2012 on the Discovery Channel. The season premier will mark the show’s 100th episode.
This year, the Cornelia Marie will sit out, forcing the Harris brothers; Josh and Jake, to fish on separate boats. Josh will join the crew of the Time Bandit and Jake will join the Northwestern crew.
This season, the total allowable catch for has been cut in half for red king crab and bairdi season has been closed entirely. Tensions are sure to be high.
