FBI Adds Adam Mayes To Its “10 Most Wanted” List

Published:

Truckers, be on the look out for this man and these two young girls. The girls are in serious danger.

The man in the poster, Adam Mayes, kidnapped Jo Ann Bain, 31, Adrienne Bain 14, Alexandria Bain, 12, and Kyliyah Bain, 8.  He is accused of murdering Jo Ann and Adrienne and burying their bodies in a shallow grave behind his mother’s home in Guntown, Mississippi.

While the motive for the kidnapping and murders has not yet been confirmed, Adam Mayes’ mother-in-law said that Mayes and his wife, Teresa, often fought about the Bain family.

“The reason they were arguing so much is because there were two little girls that he was just absolutely obsessed with,” Josie Tate said. “He was claiming that these two children were his.”

Neighbors and friends of Mayes told the media that Mayes had always told them the two missing girls were his.

On Tuesday, Teresa Mayes and Adam Mayes’ mother, Mary, were arrested and charged with ‘especially aggravated kidnapping.’

In an interview with police, Teresa Mayes said her husband intended to take Alexandria and Kyliyah from their home in Hardeman County, near Memphis.

Mayes was last seen at a convenience store in Guntown, Mississippi, but authorities say he has connections in Arizona, Texas, Florida and the Carolinas.

Police say Mayes has altered his appearance and has probably altered the girls’ appearance.

There is a $175,000 total reward for information leading to the arrest of Mayes and the recovery of the young girls.

Please pass this information along to other drivers.
