VIDEO: Freightliner Vs. Mustang In Drift Race

Published:

Stunt truck drivers are fairly rare in the world of motorsports. It takes much more skill to send a Class 8 semi truck into precision moves than it does a skinny little race car. High speed combined with high centers of gravity and heavy weight can mean disaster for most self-proclaimed racers.

Pro Racers Mike Ryan and Tanner Foust decided to see what each other were made of during a drift race at the famous Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California. Tanner may have had wider glides, but Mike really showed his skill and guts while sending his Freightliner Cascadia into hairpin turns while smoking the treads.

As a highly sought after professional driver, Mike has over 30 years of experience in Film, TV and in commercials, accident reconstructions and live shows. His work behind the wheel has made him a top choice for commercial and film directors as well as an accident reconstruction stunt driver for the California Department of Transportation and various law firms. CDLLife loves to feature stunt truck drivers, and we’ve seen lots of Mike Ryan’s work before. We’re sure you’ll love this too!
