Visitors to this year’s Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, Kentucky should stop by the Tire Retread and Repair Information Bureau’s (TRIB) booth for a chance to win 1 of 8 sets of retreaded tires, valuing more than $10,000.
Visitors will be shown an array of new and retreaded tires and will be asked to “Spot the Retreads.” Participants who correctly identify all the tires will be entered into daily drawings for sets of eight commercial truck tires to be retreaded on the entrant’s own casings.
TRIB wants visitors to learn that, Investing in retreaded tires always makes sense given the massive economic and environmental benefits they offer, says TRIB Managing Director David Stevens.” In an environment where raw material prices for tires continue to increase and fuel prices continue to rise, retreaded tires make even more sense, whether you are an owner-operator with one truck or a fleet with hundreds, he adds.
Along with our member companies participating in the contest, we feel we’ve come up with a great way to demonstrate the quality of the retreaded tires as well as provide very valuable prizes to attendees of the show, Stevens adds.
Tires from The AcuTread Alliance Group, Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions, Continental, Goodyear Retreads, Marangoni Tread North America, Michelin Retread Technologies and the Oliver Rubber Co. will be displayed.
