In the land of oil, Texas trucking company Central Freight Lines is being honored for their use of natural gas to fuel their fleet.

“Our focus is both a safe and clean initiative that sets Central Freight apart from other carriers,”  said Don Orr, president and CEO of Central Freight.. “We are committed to testing compressed natural gas tractors that are being added to our fleet next month in an effort to improve air quality in the areas where we operate, specifically here in Texas.”

In addition to their commitment to cleaner, safer air, Central Freight Lines is also committed to keeping our roads safe.

The Texas Motor Transportation Association (TMTA) awarded Central Freight Lines 1st place in the P&D Division Fleet Safety Award and 1st place in the 10-20 million miles class award.

“Our drivers are committed to safety awareness, professionalism and customer service which is reflected in our repeat award winning performances each year”, said Orr. “Texas is our home base and we are all proud to be a carrier that consistently promotes safety throughout the company ensuring a safe environment for those traveling on Texas highways.”
