Trucker Jamboree in Joplin, MO

Trucker Jamboree to benefit disaster relief: 2011 and 2012 have been some particularly rough years for dangerous weather in America’s heartland. Super storms have exacted high levels of damage on cities in Texas, Missouri, Kentucky, Kansas and Illinois. The good news is, truck drivers can help ease the strain on these Midwest communities in need.

A Family-Friendly Event

This week, charities turn all eyes to Joplin, Missouri for the All Roads Lead to Joplin benefit trucker jamboree. It’s a trucker family friendly affair, and features custom semi trucks, food, music and more. CDL Life will be there, so be sure and stop by to say hello to us! We would love to talk to you and maybe even put you on camera to hear about what concerns you in the trucking industry.

The 30th Shell Rotella SuperRigs will be a celebration of hard working truckers and will contribute to the rebuilding efforts that are still needed in Joplin, said Chris Guerrero, global brand manager of Shell Rotella. They will be hosting a custom truck show that features a $25,000 grand prize. Is your big rig up to that kind of standard?

Register on-site Thursday and Friday May 17-18 beginning at 7:30 a.m. and Saturday, May 19 beginning at 8 a.m.

All Roads Lead to Joplin is an informal association comprising a group of corporate and local supporters with a goal of raising funds to benefit the YMCA of Joplin’s Community disaster recovery efforts. Supporters include Shell Lubricants, Speedco, Bridgestone and Fleetguard.
