On December 13, 2014, Wreaths Across America volunteers will place hundreds of thousands of wreaths on veterans graves at nearly 1,000 veterans' cemeteries throughout the country.

Thank you, veterans.

The FMCSA today announced that the agency has awarded $1 million in grants to nine technical and community colleges throughout the county to help train returning military veterans for careers as bus and truck drivers.

"Operation: Big Wheels for Heroes," a Bestpass interactive fundraiser that promotes a positive image of the trucking industry, exceeded its goal of raising funds to support a wreath-laying event honoring war veterans at Arlington National Cemetery.

"Employers have a legal obligation under USERRA to accommodate servicemembers who suffer a disability while serving their country,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Jocelyn Samuels for the Civil Rights Division. “The Civil Rights Division is committed to protecting the rights of those who have served their country through military service.”

"As a company, we are very excited to announce the approval of this program. We are all very proud of our men and women who have served."

"It is also part of our mission to support the development of truck driving as a solid, respectable career – like those critically needed by our military veterans who have come home needing more than just a job, but a rewarding career." SCF stated.
