Chance Bothe, 21, was driving home from college and texting on his phone. The last text he sent before plunging off of a cliff said, “I need to quit texting because I could die in a car accident…”
Just seconds after he sent that text, Bothe plunged off of a bridge and down a cliff.
When medical officials arrived, one offical told the responders to call the coroner– they didn’t expect Bothe to survive.
Bothe suffered a broken neck, a crushed face and a traumatic brain injury. He died three times but medical professionals were able to revive him.
Six months after extensive therapy, learning to talk and walk again, Bothe is 80% back to himself.
