Video: Man Turns Jet Into HomeTruck drivers spend much of their lives in their trucks, but would any of them want to make their rig their retirement home?

Oregon resident, Bruce Campbell, is turning a retired 727-200 Boeing jet into his dream  home. The Boeing jet will provide Campbell with 153 x 10 feet of usable living space.

While Campbell doesn’t disclose the cost of purchasing the retired jet, CDL Life found Boeing 727-200 listings for anywhere from $200,000 to $1,000,000, not including the cost of converting the space into a home.

Campbell isn’t the only man to re-purpose a retired jet, a few months ago CDL Life reported about a California man who turned a retired 737 into a flight simulator.

Check out Campbell’s new home.
