Missing Woman Suspected To Be In Iowa Headed West On I-80

Published:

Police are searching for a 37-year-old emotionally disturbed Pennsylvania woman who is suspected to be in Iowa, heading west on Interstate 80.

On July 4, Susan Bachman was being driven by her parents to a psychiatric center in Clarion, Pennsylvania, when she jumped from the 50-mph moving vehicle and vanished into the woods.

Susan suffers from depression, anxiety and as of recently, paranoia. Family members worry she’s using an assumed name and making up a story about her identity.

A website and Facebook page have been created with information and updates on the search for Susan. The family encourages visitors to download the missing persons flyer available on the website and post it at gas stations.

“If you know where she is and you have contact with her, please tell her that we love her and want her back very much,” Bachman’s father William told ABC News.

Her parents, who are posting flyers at every truck stop along I-80, think Susan is traveling on the highway towards California with plans to visit a friend there.

Anyone with information on Susan Bachman’s whearabouts is urged to email [email protected] or call the Pennsylvania state police at 814-371-4652.
