A 55-year-old truck driver passed away after suffering a heart attack behind the wheel on 15th Avenue in Queens yesterday, crashing into parked cars.
The truck driver, who was delivering a load for Kane Freight Lines when he experienced a sudden heart attack. The driver lost control of his truck and veered into three unoccupied parked cars. The truck came to a stop on the sidewalk.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
A first responder said that she was immediately on the scene of the crash, but she was unable to administer CPR because the driver was “upside down and twisted.”
