Yesterday the California Highway Patrol’s Fort Tejon – Grapevine division shared stunning images of a truck that was forced to use a runaway truck ramp.
CHP: Runaway Truck Ramps Save Countless Lives

“The runaway truck ramps on the northbound side of the Grapevine have saved countless lives. This occurred on the east ramp earlier today. Pay attention to what is going on all around you. Leave yourself an opening to take evasive action in case you need it. You never know what you may encounter.
Be safe.”
CHP did not report any serious injuries as a result of this incident.
