A truck driver is lucky to be alive after he crashed off of a Minnesota bridge and into an icy lake this morning.
Trucker Breaks Out Window To Escape Sinking Truck
The incident happened just before 10 a.m. when a truck driver hauling animal parts on Highway 71 near Sauk Centre for some reason left the roadway, crashed through a guardrail, and fell into the Sauk Lake below.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, as the truck was sinking into the lake, the truck driver was able to break out a window and managed to escape.

The truck driver was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
The incident remains under investigation.
