50,000 pounds of milk spilled in truck driver’s 4th OWI incident

Published:

A truck driver is facing his fourth OWI charge after a wreck that spilled more than half of his 50,000-pound load of milk.

The accident happened on October 23rd in Clinton Township, Wisconsin at around 2:45 a.m.

According to Channel 3000 News, 49-year-old truck driver, Mark Noble, was hauling milk along the 8800 block of East State Highway 67 when the rig suddenly left the highway and tipped over into a roadside ditch, trapping Noble inside the cab of the truck.

More than half of the 50,000-pound load of milk was spilled in the incident, and Noble had to be rescued from the cab by firefighters who removed the truck’s windshield in order to free him. Noble was unhurt in the crash.

Police say that Noble showed signs of impairment on the scene and admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the evening. He was issued several field sobriety tests and arrested on suspicions of his fourth OWI.

Noble was booked into the Rock County Jail and was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
