New Jersey police say that an active shooter situation at a UPS facility this morning has been resolved.
The incident began around 9 a.m. on January 14 when shots were fired and two female hostages were taken at the UPS processing facility in Logan Township. The facility was evacuated as multiple law enforcement agencies including the New Jersey State Police and the F.B.I. responded to the situation.

Police say that following a confrontation with police, the armed suspect refused to surrender and was shot.
The hostages are unhurt.
It isn’t clear what condition the shooter is currently in.
No one else was injured.
The active shooter situation is considered to be “resolved”, authorities say.
The reason for the active shooter situation is still under investigation, but employees who were able to escape say that the shooter was upset with his ex-girlfriend.
A number of semi trucks were prevented from entering the UPS facility while the situation was active.
Police say that he incident was contained to the UPS facility. Other nearby facilities including warehouses for Home Depot, Amazon, and CEVA Logistics were reportedly on lockdown while the active shooter situation was happening..
