Police in Washington state say that a pickup truck driver is to blame for sending a semi truck crashing into a home early this morning.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. on Friday, April 5, in Spanaway, Washington.
Authorities say that a pickup truck driver was traveling the wrong way on Spanaway Loop Road when it crashed into a northbound semi truck. The impact of the crash sent the semi truck off of the road and crashing into a nearby house as well as two cars in the driveway. The pickup was then hit by another vehicle.
The two homeowners were inside their bedroom just a few feet from where the semi truck came to a stop. Neither person was hurt.

Gary Sanders with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department told KOMO News that “The truck is completely merged into their home. If it had been 6 feet to the left, they both could have been killed. So, it’s very unfortunate and just goes to show what impaired driving does.”
