A close-call while OTR is serving as a sobering reminder about the importance of a thorough pre-check for CDLLife App users this week.
CDLLife App member and truck driver, Tim B., posted a jarring series of photos showing just how much damage a runaway tire can do.
“Set of duals came off a truck going the opposite direction,” he wrote. “Tire came across the [median] and hit my friend and her husband’s truck. Luckily no one was hurt.”
“This is why pre-trip is important,” he emphasized.
Fellow drivers took to the comments to share thanks that the two drivers weren’t hurt, and even pointed out that things could have easily gone much worse.
